A previous agency’s branding attempt did not align with the client’s vision, especially on the app side. For an audience discovering Ruvo, this undermined the founder’s expectation of communicating a premium, all-in-one alternative to competitors. We audited the existing brand, then established a new key visual to be applied consistently across web and mobile, directly strengthening brand recall and trust for users arriving from social channels.

Security Breach: This should display a generic message that does not reveal whether an email has an account or not.


This approach reduces the risk of exposing user information and helps prevent potential attacks from malicious actors, such as brute-force hacking attempts.

Accessibility

The contrast between the different states of the input component is too low.

Additionally, the primary button does not meet WCAG 2.0 contrast ratio requirements for AAA level compliance.

Improving these aspects will enhance accessibility and ensure a better user experience.

Ruvo lacked a centralized design system, so any new page or feature required creating assets from scratch. This could lead to visual drift and slow execution. We built a comprehensive Figma design system with defined tokens for color, typography, spacing, and components, paired with a bundle of illustrations and visual assets.

Ruvo’s app was using an outdated interface and had UX friction points that contradicted its promise, risking disengagement despite a strong top of the funnel. For users in the retention stage, this disconnect eroded trust and could hurt adoption in the long run.
